Behind the scenes, your file goes through a two-stage pipeline:
For images and PDFs, AWS Textract reads every line of text from your file -- even handwritten text or text on angled cards. Spreadsheets and documents are parsed directly.
An AI language model reads the raw text and understands which parts are names, which are street addresses, phone numbers, emails, and companies -- even when the layout is unusual.
Extracted contacts appear in an editable table. Every field is editable inline -- fix a typo, merge duplicates, or add missing information before exporting.
Once your contacts look right, export them in the format that fits your workflow.
